(Over)Sensitivity

Sensitivity is a beautiful asset of human experience. Through sensitivity we communicate, a mother knows her child needs and relationships can be open and nourishing.

Many people however experience an oversensitivity. Shuem oftentimes receives the question how to protect oneself from it. Instead of ‘closing out’ however, Shuem advises to ‘close it in’.

Oversensitivity actually is sensitivity mixed with inner pain. It therefore is important to heal one’s emotions, let go and develop ways to harmoniously manage life energy. By developing a strong and balanced inner basis you still feel everything but don’t get washed away by it that much anymore. That way sensitivity becomes a great asset that eases open communication and adds a different quality to daily life.

In this show Stefan of Shuem talks about sensitivity and oversensitivity and provides a tool as well as a meditation ritual that supports to make the switch to greater and healthy sensitivity.
